Mum's 90th birthday

This site contains photographs taken at the party on Saturday 20th January 2001, to celebrate the ninetieth Birthday of Frances Evelyn Blackwell on 17th January 2001.

The photos are arranged on three index pages of small 'thumbnail' pictures, and you can also view them enlarged.

There are several ways to view the photos:

  • Click on one of the 'Index Page' links below. This will display the small pictures on the index page, and you can also move to another index page.


  • Click on 'First picture' link below. This will display the first large picture, and you can then move to the next picture, and so on through all the pictures. At any stage, you can also move back to the previous picture, or move to an Index Page.


  • If you click on a small picture on an index page, you will see the corresponding large picture.


  • If you click on a large picture, you will see an even larger picture!


    • Advice on downloading these web pages

    There are 25 photos, and the total files amount to about 1.8 MBytes. If you only view the Index Pages (small pictures), then the file sizes are quite small and should download to your computer quickly. However, if you are likely to view all or most of the large pictures, then this will take around 10 minutes under favourable circumstances.

    In this case,I suggest that you follow the following procedure, which will download all the files in the shortest time, and you can then disconnect from the Internet (so saving your telephone bill). You can start viewing the pictures while they are downloading, but you can still view them (now or any time later) without re-connecting to the Internet.
